I giggle every time I see the title of this picture... In all seriousness however, this is where I came with Aaron near every night this past Summer, when it was dark as all fuck. It's on a hill, about a quarter of a kilometer away from any houses or artificial light. We'd just lie there in the grass talking for hours at a time, watching the stars if the weather would permit. The cool thing was that the streetlights from far across the water would be refracted on the surface of it, forming what looked like very tall fires on the gentle waves. It was a great hangout, but it's probably gone by now (construction and all). I haven't really gone back to check.

An inside joke between Mia and I. : P We were trying to figure out a way we could make money quick, and I suggested we begin a breeding program. We figured we would combine the genetics of a platypus (platy), camel (mon), giraffe (raff), and a llama (a). However, a flaw came about. The thing is a total, unnatural freak of nature and thus is prone to severe depression, due to people making fun of it constantly. We even had to design a specially-fitted straight jacket for the poor thing to keep it from killing itself. Sad. So very sad... But it makes us lots of money. : D

I've actually been drawing this dude for like three and a half years. Originally he was just a random drawing that I produced after thinking, "Hey, it'd be cool to have a lizard guy killing something." (I still have the piccy laying around here somewhere) I immediately got quite attached to him and drew a bazillion more pictures, and he gained a personality of his own. Decided it was time for a little backstory. Well he kinda has a short temper, his entire family was murdered in front of him as a kid, he loves killing things, and he killed his best and only friend because she tried to cheer him up. Go figure. He's a hateful bastard, as you've guessed by now. But I love him, and he's fun to draw. :3 He's fairly plain-looking compared to other members of his species and even his own race. He's completely heterochromatic, as his other eye is light blue. I just didn't add it in on the flip image. D: I might draw him full-body someday with my tablet, but seeing as I haven't done that with anything ever... it might take a while.
